Celebration of Life Officiant in Sacramento
Warm, personal memorial services that honor a life fully lived
Sometimes what families want is not a formal funeral, but something more personal.
A gathering that tells stories.
That reflects a personality.
That feels like the person you are remembering.
I work with families across Sacramento to create celebration of life services that are meaningful, thoughtful, and grounded in what matters most.
What a Celebration of Life Can Be
There is no single way to do this.
A celebration of life might include:
Personal stories and reflections
Music that mattered to your loved one
Readings or poetry
Moments of humor alongside grief
Participation from family and friends
It can be held in a home, a park, a funeral space, or somewhere that held meaning.
My Role
My role is to help shape the experience so that it:
Flows naturally
Feels cohesive
Honors the emotional reality of the moment
Gives people space to grieve and remember
I help you find the right words, structure, and tone.
A Thoughtful, Guided Process
We begin with a conversation.
I’ll ask about:
Your loved one’s life and personality
What mattered to them
What feels right (and what doesn’t) for your family
From there, I help craft a service that reflects those answers.
For Many Kinds of Families
Some families come from religious backgrounds. Others do not.
Some want spiritual elements. Others prefer a fully secular gathering.
All are welcome.
If you are looking for an interfaith or more structured approach, you may also want to explore my work as an interfaith funeral officiant.
You don’t need to have all the answers right now.
